Martina Bottazzo, Certified Public Psychologist (公認心理師) at BeyondBleu

How Martina works

Martina Bottazzo is a Japan Certified Public Psychologist (公認心理師), Japan’s national psychology licence. Her work blends structure with sensitivity — offering clients both emotional safety and clear direction.

Her approach is grounded in trauma-informed cognitive-behavioural therapy, thoughtfully integrated with relational and depth-oriented perspectives. She works with adults and young adults experiencing anxiety, depression, burnout, chronic stress, and attachment-related difficulties. She has particular experience supporting clients affected by religious or spiritual trauma, and those navigating multicultural identities and the particular emotional texture of expat life.

Martina is currently a PhD candidate at Osaka University, where her research focuses on the long-term psychological impact of adverse childhood experiences. She brings broad clinical experience across school, community, hospital, and telehealth settings to each session.

Alongside individual therapy, Martina conducts psychological assessments for adults and adolescents — including mood, anxiety, trauma-related functioning, and broader psychological evaluation.

Best suited for: adults and young adults seeking structured, thoughtful work around trauma, identity, burnout, and long-standing emotional patterns.
