How Tumee works

Tumee Hugginson is the founder and Clinical Director of BeyondBleu. She holds an MA in Clinical Psychology from the United States and works in couples therapy, depth psychology and cross-cultural therapeutic practice, shaped by her practice in Japan and internationally.

As Clinical Director, Tumee leads the clinical vision of the practice — setting the standard of care, curating the team, and overseeing the depth and integrity of the work offered across BeyondBleu.

Tumee is trained in the Gottman Method to Level 3 — one of the most rigorously researched approaches to couples therapy — and integrates this with attachment theory, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and depth-psychological understanding. Her work with couples is particularly attuned to betrayal and trust repair, intercultural and international relationships, emotional rupture and repair, and couples requiring intensive concentrated work.
