Depth, Trauma & Couples Therapy in Tokyo & Online

From repairing trust to easing anxious days to preparing for parenthood, experience therapy that is both scientifically precise and deeply human—in our private Ginza suite or via encrypted video worldwide.

A slow-down moment

Imagine therapy that begins with an exhale, not a clipboard.

Where the first question isn’t What’s wrong? but What hurts—and what still hopes?—and what is my next reach?

Whether you’re mending after a rupture, navigating stress at the top of your field, or simply wanting more ease and intimacy, this is a room designed for thoughtful change. Quiet, unhurried, and precise.

That’s the room you’re entering—online or in person—right now.

You may be here because…

  • trust fractured overnight and the ground hasn’t returned.
  • anxiety steals more mornings than you admit.
  • distance has crept into a relationship you care about.
  • you love deeply, but you fight in circles.
  • “high-functioning” started to feel like “always bracing.”

Therapy at BeyondBleu isn’t only treatment—it’s transformation: safety for your nervous system, clarity for your story, and practice that lasts.

Trauma therapy (Prolonged Exposure)

PE is a structured, research-supported way to teach the brain and body that the present is safe. We gently revisit what happened in session and practice small, planned steps in daily life until your nervous system says, "I can do this". Less avoidance, steadier sleep, more freedom.

Depth therapy (psychoanalytic approach)

Depth work looks beneath symptoms to the patterns and meanings that quietly steer your life. We slow down and notice what repeats—how you protect yourself, what you long for, how earlier bonds still echo now. In the room, what unfolds between us becomes a living mirror. We name defenses with care and make room for feeling, choice, and repair. The aim is durable change: fewer automatic loops, warmer connection, and a self that feels larger than the problem.

Gottman Method for couples

Practical and kind. Softer startups, quicker repairs, fewer escalations. We help you rebuild safety and connection while protecting each person’s dignity.

Growth and performance

For people who are already successful and want to do it more sustainably. Clarify priorities, untangle competing drives, and build habits that support both achievement and aliveness. Less white-knuckle, more grounded momentum.

What clients often notice

  • triggers soften; sleep and focus improve
  • fewer escalations and faster repair in tough moments
  • less avoidance, more freedom to choose
  • clearer boundaries, warmer connection
  • a steadier sense of self—and of possibility

Frequently asked

Is online therapy effective?

Yes. PE’s imaginal work and in-vivo planning translate well to encrypted video, and many clients complete full courses online.

Do you take sides in couples work?

I take the side of the relationship—helping both partners feel safe, seen, and effective.

How many sessions will I need?

Single-incident trauma may respond within 6–12 sessions; longstanding patterns take longer. We will plan together and revisit progress regularly.

Is this right for me if I’m in crisis?

We can begin with stabilization and coordination with other supports, then deepen as safety grows.
